I find the fact that your 30, hard to beleive. But hmm, you Swedish Metal? You might want to give Finnish Metal a taste. Stam1na. That's the band name, they're one of my favorite bands of all time, just some really nice melodic guitars, drums and Finnish lyrics.

Oh yes... Because King Diamond and Slayer aren't commercial at all bahahaha, stfu.

I always think most metal bands have gone way too far into the random noise and low pitched screaming stage, to the point when it becomes not so much music as white noise. For good metal, I think Metallica took it pretty much to the limit. Any further and it starts going downhill.

But hey, that's just me.

Now, really... Let people have their own crappy taste. a lot of them even assume a band is talentless because there is no clean singing or the guitar is slightly to distorted anyway, so why even bother.

Also, you recommendations... King Diamond and Slayer. Anybody who knows even the slightest bit about metal knows those. Those who don't belong in the above category that don't like it, whatever you tell them. So perhaps you should take something slightly less known.

have a listen to "pray for plauges" by "bring me the horizon" its alot more modern, but i certainly wouldnt consider it commercial. you might not like it though, its metalcore, lots of screaming.
